Matt Janisch began the 25-lap TQ feature from the pole and held the early lead until lap eight, when Don Adams overtook him.  Frank Fischer moved into the third spot, with Zack Martini and Chris Deritis in the top five.  Fischer moved from his 6^th starting position to take a second place finish on the night after winning his heat race.  Martini charged from 12^th starting position to garner a third place finish. 

Janisch and Adams battled side by side until Adams was able to wrest the lead from Janisch on lap 8. 

The fourth caution of the event waved after a lap twelve restart when teammates, Martini and Janisch made contact in turn two.  Janisch spun and was forced to join the rear of the field for the restart.

Green flag racing resumed and Adams drove off to victory over Fischer, Martini, Deritis and Tim Behmer.

Matt Janisch and Frank Fischer were victorious in heat race action.

ATQMRA News and Notes:  Ryan Tidman suffered a broken axle in heat race action but recovered for a  6^th place finish after some furious work by his crew to get the car ready for action with four inches less offset in the rear for the feature.  The team finished preparing the car on the track during the Mountian fan fest.  Mike Tidaback continues to suffer an elusive electrical gremlin that has relegated him to uncharacteristically poor finishes.  Martini returned to ATQMRA racing after racing in USAC’s Indiana Sprint Week.  ATQMRA Rookie point leader Austin Fehr had a solid 7^th place finish.  This week saw Joey Payne III return to action for the first time in 08.  The drivers and teams were able to mingle with fans, sign autographs and hand out cards at the FanFest.
